LESSON 8 - COLLABORATIVE ICT DEVELOPMENT

        I learned in this lesson was the interaction between system and person. I also learned about the different types of interactive media such as facebook, twitter, youtube, etc. that can helps everyone to interact with each other using Modern Technology.

LESSON 1 - INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

   In this lesson, I learned a different types of Web. Web 1.0 there is only limited interaction between sites and web users, web 2.0 allows users to interact with the page, the user may be able to comment or create a user account and web 3.0 is where we can share files and media. The web 2.0 is the most used web among the other.
   Our teacher discussed about six types of social media such as social networks, bookmarking sites, social news, media sharing, micro blogging and blogs and forums. We tackled the kinds of operating system; IOS is for apple devices only, android is an open sources developed by google, blackberry OS used in blackberry devices, windows phone OS in an closed sources and proprietary developed by microsoft, symbian the original smartphone used by Nokia devices, web OS is now used for smart tv's and windows mobile is also developed by microsoft used for smartphones and pocket pc's.

LESSON 7 - ONLINE PLATFORMS AS TOOLS FOR ICT CONTENT AND DEVELOPMENT

   In this lesson we tackled about social media, twitter, facebook because that is example of some online platforms. It helps to communicate to other and can easily share information using internet and online platforms. It helps the ict to develop and create more program with the help of that.
   Online platforms helps to create a group so people can easily talk to each others. There are also mapping where in it can help you to search direction like google map.

LESSON 6 - IMAGING AND DESIGN FOR ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

   In this lesson, I learned how to lay out and make a infographics in piktochart. Infographics are used to present information in a creative way to attract viewer's attention.

  I know what are the ways to edit your images. First, choose the right file format. Always use the jpeg. and not the GIF. Then, choose the right image size. The last is, caption it. Put a caption to your picture to attract your viwer's attention.

  There are so many image hosting platforms, Google Photos, Flickr, Imgur, Dropbox, Photobucket, Imageshack and Instagram. The most used image hosting platform is the Instagram/IG. There are millions of people using IG where we can share pictures and videos to our followers. 

LESSON 5 - ADVANCED PRESENTATION SKILLS

   Microsoft Powerpoint is a powerful presentation. If we need to present our topic and the information, we need to make a presentation using Powerpoint because this is the best way to do it. I learned what are rhe key terms such as the slide, animation, transition, slideshow, design template and hyperlink. Making a hyperlink is easy if you're just going to follow the steps on how to make it.
   It's important to know how to create in Microsoft Powerpoint because if we are going to report our topic, we need to use ms powerpoint for our visuals.

LESSON 4 - ADVANCED SPREADSHEET SKILLS

In this lesson, I learned how to create in microsoft excel.

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program for entering, editing,manipulating and printing information in a tabulate form. When you need to compute the grades, you need to know the formula and functions to compute it.

  There are 8 formula when computing, sum(range) is to compute the all items, average(range) used to get the average of items, count(range) used to count the values, min(range) used to get the smallest value, max(range) used to get the largest value, sumif(range,criteria) is a function used to compute for the summation, countif(range,criteria) used to count the cells and last the averageif(range,criteria) used to compute the average.

  Creating in Microsoft Excel is easy if we are going to follow the steps. We need to know how to create in microsoft excel because what if we are required to make a spreadsheet form? That's why this is important to us.

LESSON 3 - ADVANCED WORD PROCESSING SKILLS

Mail merge is a way of creating letters or mails. There is a two components of Mail Merge; list or data file and form document. We did a form documents as one of our perfomance task. I learned how to make a cover letter, it makes easier when im using mail merge. I also know some parts of Microsoft Word that i didn't know before. 

LESSON 2 - RULES OF NETIQUETTE

I learned a lot about Online Safety and Security, that the internet is a powerful tool. It can be used to promote a business, gain new friends, source of entertainment and stay in touch with the old ones. The internet is also the most dangerous places, especially when you don't know what are you doing.
Our teacher discuss the Types of Information and Risks. If you give your fullname is more risky, a hacker already knows plenty of stuff about you. Your cellphone number should not posted over the internet because it's a public place and your home phone number is more risky than sharing your personal number. Our teacher give some tips to stay safe online by using a incognito (private) mode, do not talk to strangers whether online or face-to-face, do not reply or click links from suspepicious emails and etc. The Internet Threats like virus,spyware,keyloggers, etc. Our teacher said Think Before You Click and give us some tips to avoid copyrifght infringement and conducting online research. When you conducting online research, you need to focus on a question you want answered and search it to Google, Bing, etc.
